Thirty years ago…

Today, February 13th, the Group is celebrating a very special birthday. Exactly thirty years ago, when its name was filed with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), the AXA brand was born. 2015 will be the year we celebrate this special moment in the life of the Group.

Our history goes all the way back to 1817, but the AXA brand came into the world officially in 1985. Since then, it has accompanied the Group’s international expansion and supported our shared culture. Today, our brand is an essential comparative advantage in developing our activity.

For six straight years, AXA has been the number one global insurance brand, as ranked by Interbrand. This distinction recognizes the strength of our global brand as well as its positioning in protection, reaffirmed with the launch of our “Born to Protect” campaigns.

As it has done for the past 30 years, the AXA brand continues to be modern and close to its customers. Today, this means we communicate on social networks, connecting with people through AXA People Protectors on Facebook or through our @axa Instagram account.
